Lunchtime concert at the beautiful St Dunstan-in-the-West on Fleet Street with Alice Turner.  We are exploring arias from Handel’s operas and oratorios where characters are facing the choice between vice and virtue or merely facing what fate has in store for them.
The arias, many of them lesser known gems, demonstrate Handel’s extraordinary versatility and ability to capture anger, resignation, delight and deep peace.
