Following the popular and critical acclaim of Ex Cathedra’s Brazilian Adventures CD, we return to the music of this vast, enchanting country, with a programme of elegant music from Ouro Preto, and including a major, Christmas work by one of Brazil’s most important 18th-century composers Castro Lobo’s Matinas de Natal. The concert is being performed in Birmingham’s beautiful historic town hall.
