Pegasus are delighted to have been invited to return to the prestigious London Handel Festival for a varied programme of masterpieces composed by Handel and his contemporary J.S. Bach when both composers were in their early twenties – Handel’s youthful and exuberant Dixit Dominus, and Bach’s rarely heard cantata Christ lag in Todesbanden. We will be accompanied by the London Handel Orchestra and students from the Birmingham Conservatoire, directed by Adrian Butterfield.
